-
Site Evaluation - An on-site inspection is done in order to
evaluate existing site conditions (terrain, drainage, sol types and
vegetation). This enables Greg Nash Design to determine the
type and character of golf course that is most suited to the location.
-
Routing Plan -
During the phase, Greg Nash Design evaluates the gathered site information
and blends it with the owner's requests and the project master-plan
requirements to prepare a series of preliminary sketches that show how the
golf course will interact with the overall development. Once a final
routing plan is approved, Greg Nash Design prepares a color rendering
of the routing plan, and a preliminary golf course construction schedule.
All of these are then submitted for the owner's review.
-
Water-Usage Study -
Greg Nash Design also prepares a water-usage study which details the
sprinkler head layout, the various type of areas to be irrigated and the
amount of water each will require during peak, off peak and annual use
periods. A report of this study is then submitted to the owner and any
appropriate local or state agencies for review.
